Beakerhead Update #2

7 DAYS UNTIL BEAKERHEAD!

We have been busy - bottles have been sorted and de-labelled, frames have been built and painted and many slices of pizza have been eaten.

The working group from Calgary Can, Entuitive Engineering and Mckinley Burkart, along with dozens of amazing, helpful volunteers have been hard at work and the end is in sight!

Some of our awesome volunteers hard at work on the long weekend. What would we do without them?

In addition to the tireless work from our project team and volunteers, there are a few organizations that we cannot thank enough for making this entire project possible:

So many bottles...thank you Uptown!

Beakerhead is only one week away. Make sure you come and check out our project outside the north entrance of Eau Claire Market starting September 14!

Beakerhead Update #1

27 DAYS UNTIL BEAKERHEAD!

Over the last few weeks, we've been hard at work refining our design plan, finalizing some last minute details and sorting through thousands of bottles (more like thousands and thousands and thousands of bottles)!

We wouldn't be able to do this project without the help of some amazing volunteers and in-kind donations from some equally amazing local businesses - we are truly lucky to live in such a generous and caring city!

Thank you to Calibre Coatings Ltd., Carbon Copy DigitalGreen Event Services, Ryan Murphy Construction and Uptown Bottle Depot.

Stay tuned for more updates in the upcoming weeks and be sure to check out Beakerhead from September 14 to 18!
